The Evil Witness of God

Atheists and skeptics argue, "If there's a God, how could there be all this evil in the world? If there's evil in the world, there can't be a loving God." The truth is exactly the opposite. Evil doesn't speak against God, it speaks against the world. You couldn't know evil without good. If there was no God or good, the evil would not cause a conflict. So they're actually arguing for God. In the same way, when you see evil in the world, you have to look beyond it to God. Things may be going wrong and you may be dealing with all sorts of wrong and evil things, but don't get discouraged with God. It's just one more thing pointing you away from the world, away from trusting in people or anything else, and pointing you to trust only in God. Get your eyes off the world, off the people, off your problem, off yourself. Depend on and rejoice in the only One that will never fail you, never leave you, and never falter. God is different from this world and everything else - That's why He's God.
