The Scandals of Heaven

One of the most pure, beautiful and holy things that ever happened on this planet was the virgin birth. Yet when it happened, it wasn't considered pure or beautiful or holy. It was considered a scandal. Yosef and Miryam weren't married yet. So it is with God. What He does and is doing in your life is pure and beautiful and holy. But don't expect the world to recognize it. The new birth is the most pure of things, but you can't expect the world to understand it. But don't let that stop you. The miracles of God will always be scandalous to a non-miraculous world. Spreading the Gospel will always be scandalous, but do it anyway and you'll see the miracle of new life. Loving your enemies will always be scandalous, but do it anyway. Stepping out in faith will always be scandalous, but do it anyway. The life of Heaven will always be viewed as scandalous when it comes to Earth. But let it happen anyway. Don't fear the scandal. Embrace the new life from Heaven and let it have its way.
