As a born again believer, you're a spiritual Hebrew. In Hebrew, the word Hebrew is Ivri. It comes comes from the root word avar. Avar can refer to something that has passed away or ceases to be. In order to have a new life, to become a child of God, you had to first cease to the old life: die to self, the ego, the flesh, and the world. As much as you've done that, you've become a spiritual Hebrew. Avar also means one who has crossed over. As in crossing over into the Promised Land. Have you crossed over? The secret is the same. In order to pass over to new things in God, you have to pass away from the old life and cross over into the blessings God has for you. Learn the secret of passing away.
