ROLLING BACK THE RAINBOW

Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission...

Has there been a turn around? Have we witnessed the rolling back, the reversal, of the agenda that has been overturning biblical morality, altering the nature of man, woman, marriage, sexuality, and gender? Is there hope?

It all came to a head in June, "Pride Month" of this year. Anheuser Busch, the manufacturer of Bud Light beer, decided it would be a good idea to have the image of a transsexual named Dylan Mulvaney, on its beer cans. The result was a massive pushback. Sales of Bud Light plummeted. The company lost billions of dollars. In the same month, the department store, Target, decided it would be a good idea to push LGBT-themed clothing to children, even toddlers and infants. At the same time it started selling 'tuck' bathing suits for men designed to make them appear feminine or as one who had been 'transitioned.' The result was, again, massive outrage - and the company retreated.

In the same month, the major league baseball team, the Dodgers, decided it would be a good idea to honor a group of homosexual men who dress up as nuns and mock Catholicism and Christianity - the 'Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.' The backlash was again massive. There were more people protesting the event than attending it.

Parents throughout the country protested school boards that had decided to push the LGBT and gender transitioning agenda on their children. High schools in Canada, the United Kingdom, and America witnessed their students tagging protests and boycotts over the LGBT indoctrination in their classrooms.

As a result the major corporations that would normally flaunt their LGBT advocacy and the rainbow versions of their logos, subdued their flaunting and their celebrations. Major League Baseball reversed its policy of forcing its players to wear rainbow-themed LGBT endorsing baseball jerseys.

Did what happened represent the beginning of a more widespread and enduring movement? Does it represent a lasting rolling back of the LGBT agenda and its indoctrination of the nation's children? Or was it a temporary reversal that will ultimately be reversed?

We must be cautious. When Bill Clinton opened up the military to homosexuals in the 1990s, there was a massive public backlash. This led him to reverse the policy. But today most Americans and most leaders in the military are in favor of that very thing. In fact, today, the U.S. army celebrates homosexuality, promulgates it, and indoctrinates its soldiers into the rainbow agenda.

We must pray for God's hand. Only a revival, the changing of hearts, can turn back such things. The only One who can ultimately roll back the rainbow agenda is the one to whom the rainbow belongs.

During this season of repentance and return, let us pray for the repentance, return, and revival of America. And don't just pray for revival - live in revival! And may God greatly bless you as you do!
